Screenings of “Pandas 3D” will be offered at the Tennessee Aquarium IMAX 3D Theater Oct. 5-7.
The Giant Panda is a national treasure and symbol of pride in China. At Chengdu Panda Base in China, scientists are preparing captive-born cubs for the wild.
“Pandas 3D” follows one such researcher, whose passion leads her to initiate a new technique inspired by a Black Bear rehabilitator in rural New Hampshire.
Narrated by Kristen Bell (“Frozen,” “The Good Place”) “Pandas 3D” follows a panda named Qian Qian to the mountains of Sichuan as she experiences nature for the first time.
The International Union for Conservation of Nature recently changed the Giant Panda’s status from endangered to vulnerable.
