MLK Day of Service

The city of Chattanooga rescheduled the annual MLK Day of Service to April 4-6 after inclement winter weather forced the cancellation of the event scheduled to take place Jan. 15. The annual service day is dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and mission to serve the community.

This will be the 12th year the city of Chattanooga and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga have organized the MLK Day of Service. Past projects have included neighborhood cleanups, tree-planting and school improvement initiatives.
