Hamilton County Attorney General Neal Pinkston has been elected by the members of the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference to serve on the executive committee.

“I’m looking forward to serving on the executive committee this year and I’m honored to have been chosen by my colleagues,” Pinkston says. “As an elected official tasked with ensuring public safety, I take this responsibility seriously and will continue working to making sure we have the tools to protect my neighbors in the community I serve.”

“We have a great team on the executive committee,” Executive Director Jerry Estes says. “General Pinkston, like all Tennessee district attorneys, is a smart and fair leader who has the best interests of Tennesseans at heart and is committed to ensure the public safety of Hamilton County residents.”

Pinkston has served as a prosecutor since 2003 and was elected 11th District Attorney General in 2014.

Along with his appointment on the executive committee, he serves on the Legislative and Training committees and the Truth in Sentencing Subcommittee.

Pinkston, a past president of the Orange Grove Center board of directors, is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and University of Tennessee College of Law.
