Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan attorney Marc Harwell has been elected to the board of directors of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC). Founded in 1936, the FDCC is an international organization composed of leaders in the legal community.
The over 1,400 members of the Federation include the top attorneys in private practice who specialize in civil defense litigation, as well as general counsel, risk managers and insurance claims examiners from throughout the world.
Membership is by invitation after an extensive peer review selection process.
Harwell also serves as the appointed chair of the FDCC Construction Section. Since 2011, he has served as vice-chair of the FDCC Transportation Section. He is vice-chair of the FDCC Admissions Committee and the Projects and Objectives Committee and is ex-officio of the FDCC/IADC Law Firm Management Conference.
