Churchill Mortgage has released Smarter Mortgage, a set of mobile apps and educational tools designed to provide consumers with a personalized path to homeownership. The local lender is a provider of conventional, FHA, VA and USDA residential mortgages across 40 states.
The Smarter Mortgage is made up of five components:
HomeScouting – A free mobile app that allows homeowners and borrowers to browse MLS listings, save favorite properties and contact a local agent or home loan specialist. HomeScouting is available through Home Buyers Marketing II Inc. on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. (The app requires uses to create an account using a VIP code acquired from a real estate agent or loan officer.)
Sold Home Alert – Allows prospective homeowners to sign up for a monthly alert that informs them of homes sold nearby or in another area. Sold Home Alert also allows existing homeowners to compare their home’s value to those nearby or to ones that have recently sold.
My Nest Mobile App – Also available for free on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, My Nest serves as a digital journal for homebuyers. It allows prospective homebuyers to engage with mortgage professionals as they narrow their search and prepare to enter the mortgage process.
Total Cost Analysis – This tool allows prospective homebuyers to see tailored loan options and illustrates multiple loan scenarios, providing a breakdowns of costs, interest rates and monthly payments.
Mortgage Coach – Mortgage Coach conducts an in-depth loan analysis and cost evaluation of the most appropriate home financing options and digitally communicates the information and all disclosure requirements to borrowers and real estate agents.
