Torgerson earns real estate honors

Keller Williams Realty of Greater Downtown Chattanooga has presented Nathan Torgerson of The Torgerson Team with awards for Highest Closed GCI (Gross Commissionable Income) by Agent as well as Most Closed Units by Agent for 2016.

“Each year, we recognize the top groups, teams and individual agents in our office for their accomplishments in the year before,” says Nathan Brown, chief leadership officer for Keller Williams Downtown. “For someone to earn these awards in particular, they have to provide phenomenal service to clients.”

At Keller Williams, three or more agents working together is considered a group; a team of agents consists of at least two agents, with an individual agent doing all the contract work. Torgerson was awarded Most Closed Units and Highest Closed GCI for 2016 in the individual agent category.

“We have about 250 agents in our market center, so to be recognized for being the number one individual agent is overwhelming,” Torgerson says.

With 71 units sold in 2016, Torgerson had not only an award-winning year but also a record-breaking year for Keller Williams Downtown, Brown says.

“I think that’s the highest closed GCI of an individual agent we’ve ever had,” he says.

This isn’t the first time Torgerson has been recognized for his real estate work. Last year, REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Agents named him one of America’s most productive sales associates.

In addition, Torgerson is ranked number 68 in Tennessee on the list of “America’s Best Real Estate Agents.” He is one of only eight Chattanooga Realtors to receive this recognition. In 2015, Torgerson was also recognized nationally by the American Institute of Real Estate Professionals as one of 10 agents to receive a Client Satisfaction Award.

“I wouldn’t have been able to reach this level of achievement without my clients, who trusted me to fulfill their American dream of homeownership,” Torgerson says. “We strive to make sure our clients are taken care of and are well-informed about the real estate market and their transaction.”
