The Chattanooga Bar Association is seeking nominations for the 24th recipient of the Ralph H. Kelley Humanitarian Award for community service.
The award will be given to a member of the legal profession or a judicial officer who, in the opinion of the Board of Governors, has provided exemplary service to the community of Chattanooga through civic and professional activities directed toward the improvement and preservation of the lives, property and dignity of its citizens.
Nominees must be members in good standing of the Chattanooga Bar Association or a judicial officer, have a minimum of 15 years tenure in the Chattanooga legal community and have performed community service with an emphasis on social service.
The CBA is soliciting nominations from the members of the Chattanooga legal community as well as the community at large. Nominations can be faxed to (423) 265-6602 or emailed to LHood@chattanoogabar.org no later than Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016.
The CBA will present the award at its 119th annual meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 at The Read House.
