Erlanger Health System President and CEO Kevin M. Spiegel, along with City Mayor Andy Berke and County Mayor Jim Coppinger, last week announced the Chattanooga Heroes Run/Walk raised $15,000 for the Fallen Five memorial.
At the request of the families of Chattanooga’s fallen heroes, funds from the event will be used to build a permanent memorial for the five men who lost their lives last July.
This first-year event sold out three days before the run, with participants from 20 states registered and thousands of spectators lined the five-mile course.
The planning committee thanked everyone who supported the event, whether as a volunteer, donor, spectator, or participant.
