With triple-digit growth in sales volume in 2015, Re/Max Real Estate Center had plenty to celebrate during its annual awards luncheon, held Friday, March 18 at the Walden Club. The yearly event honored the work of its agents at two locations: on Broad Street in Chattanooga, Tenn., and on Battlefield Parkway in Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga.

Keynote speaker Darlene Brown, regional manager for Re/Max, presented the company's statistics for 2015 and discussed its recent growth. The Chattanooga location saw a 39 percent increase in transactions over 2014 and a 152 percent increase in sales volume. The Ft. Oglethorpe location did even better, with 155 percent more transactions than the previous year and a 182 percent increase in sales volume.

The company also announced its award winners for 2015. Mike Chauncey won the Top List and Sales Award for the Chattanooga Office. Freddy Caheely took the same honor for the Ft. Oglethorpe office. He said he merely strives to do his best with both his buyers and his sellers. "I try to give everyone my full attention, as if they were my only client. My goal is for everyone to have a positive experience when buying or selling with me so they'll refer me to their family and friends," he said. "I was blessed to have an amazing year."

Re/Max also announced two company-wide awards on which the agents at both offices voted. The firm gives its Red, White and Blue Award to an agent who embodies the spirit of the company and is supportive of his or her fellow associates. The 2015 winner was Marla Brack of the Ft. Oglethorpe office. "Receiving this award was exceptionally special to me because my office peers voted on it," she said. "It was an honor to receive it from my Re/Max family."

The company gives its Above the Crowd Award to an agent who conducts him or herself with the highest degree of professionalism. The 2015 winner was Brenda Harden. "Everyone in our office could have won this," she said. "Professionalism is very important in our business. I love my job."

Pam Maples, who's been with Re/Max only a few months, was recognized as the agent with the most sales in Walker County, Ga. Becky Smith was recognized as the newest agent.

Affiliate broker and owner Melody Broome said the company is looking forward to more growth in 2016. "Our goal is to offer the best real estate services available in the North Georgia and Chattanooga areas through our knowledge of the market and the many tools the worldwide Re/Max franchise has to offer," she said.
