Society of Work, a membership-based co-working space, will relocate to the sixth story Edney Innovation Center. Society of Work is on a growing list of companies located in the heart of Chattanooga’s Innovation District, including most recently Open Table, SouthTree, and White Board. Additionally, Society of Work will be the third tenant so far in the Edney Innovation Center, a public-private partnership located at the corner of Market and 11th Streets. Both the Company Lab and The Enterprise Center began official operations from the Edney Innovation Center earlier this month.

“The Edney Innovation Center is the front door of our Innovation District, serving as a connection point, support base, and catalyst for the local entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said Mayor Andy Berke. “As a local leader in collaborative work spaces for entrepreneurs and startups, Society of Work is a perfect fit for the Edney, and is an asset to our growing Innovation District.”

In their new location, Society of Work will expand their co-working space as well as offer new small offices and amenities to help support the bottom line of local entrepreneurs, startups, and freelancers. In addition, entrepreneurs can foster their connections and support through utilizing the co-working community at Society of Work.

In addition to connections and collaboration, Society members will also enjoy rooftop access, community workspace, game room/lounge, shower and changing room, additional conference rooms, and social events to help connect them to the larger entrepreneurial community.

Society of Work is temporarily located in the Accelerator Space on Floor Five of the Edney until the construction of the sixth story is complete.
