Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel adds new hires

Cathy Dorvil, Megan Hallar, and Jannine Rowell have joined the law firm of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel.

Dorvil has joined the firm’s health care and litigation practice groups after spending the last six years at the national firm of Hogan Lovells US in Miami. She will provide advice and counsel to clients in the areas of health care, complex commercial and business disputes, and insurance. Dorvil has experience assisting clients with Medicaid and Medicare enrollment and payment issues, fraud and abuse prevention, regulatory compliance, and provider disputes.

She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, and has a master of science degree in Maternal and Child Health from Harvard University School of Public Health. She graduated cum laude from the University of Puget Sound with a bachelor of science in occupational therapy.

Hallar joined the firm’s marketing and business development team as marketing and business development specialist. She will assist the firm with sponsorship coordination, content development, client seminar planning, and attorney business development. Hallar will also be actively promoting the firm’s practice areas throughout the region and increasing brand awareness.

She majored in marketing and graduated summa cum laude from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a bachelor of science in business administration.

Rowell joined as a paralegal for the firm’s estate planning practice group. She will assist the firm’s attorneys and clients with estate and trust administration, litigation of estate matters, and estate planning. She has over 13 years of experience in estate planning law, with an additional 17 years of experience in various other areas of law, including civil litigation, worker’s compensation, corporate law, and family law. She attended Northeastern Illinois University and graduated from Robert Morris College with Honors and paralegal certification.
