Signature Brokers has announced the addition of Paula Eggert Powell to The Winslett Team at the Ooltewah-based real estate firm. Powell is a veteran teacher who taught for 16 years at Loftis Middle School in Hixson. She has a bachelor’s degree in education as well as a master’s degree as a reading specialist from UTC.
Powell says aspects of her new real estate venture are familiar territory. “I’ll always consider myself to be a teacher, only now I’m educating my clients in real estate and how to make a smart investment in their future,” says Powell.
Team Leader Belinda Winslett says teachers make some of the best Realtors, “Their attention to detail, organizational skills, and genuine care for others makes them invaluable in the real estate market,” she says. “I’ve known Paula for a long time, and we’re honored to have her join us.”
Powell and her family reside in Hixson on the lake, where she plans to build her business by serving the luxury lake home market. When she’s not helping clients, she can often be found on the water with family and friends.
