Local wildlife spotted at Cabela’s

As Cabela’s approaches it grand opening on May 13, its employees are working hard to stock shelves and set up displays. Already in place are a number of taxidermy exhibits featuring local wildlife. While they don’t come to life like the creatures in “Night at the Museum” (as far as we know), they do create a sense of atmosphere and authenticity within the store.

Local outdoors enthusiasts will be able to view these and other displays and shop for goods when Cabela’s hosts its grand opening event on Wednesday, May 13. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 9:45 a.m., and conclude with the ribbon being sliced by an arrow shot from a bow by a Cabela’s employee. The store will then open for business at 10 a.m.
