Chambliss attorneys recognized for client service




Four attorneys with Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel have been recognized as Client Service All-Stars by BTI Consulting Group in its annual review of lawyers. William P. Aiken, Timothy M. Gibbons, Anthony A. Jackson, and William H. Pickering (pictured l-r) are among a group of 354 attorneys selected nationwide for providing exceptional service and value to the firm’s clients.

Aiken was recognized as a 4-Year Client Service MVP, and was one of only four attorneys nationwide to be recognized as a Super All-Star. Super All-Stars received recognition from multiple corporate counsel and executives.

Pickering was also recognized as a Client Service MVP, and was one of only three attorneys who have been an MVP for five consecutive years.

Aiken was recognized for his work in commercial contracts and business transactions. His practice also includes corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. Clients include several large manufacturers and other significant businesses. Aiken is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions, and has been honored by that publication four times as the Chattanooga Corporate Lawyer of the Year.

Gibbons was recognized for his work in construction law. He chairs the firm’s construction group, and handles a wide range of construction-related matters, including contract drafting and negotiation and litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Clients include significant manufacturing companies and numerous contractors. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Construction Law.

Jackson was recognized for his work in litigation and risk management. He handles complex commercial litigation, including defense of significant products and other liability cases, and represents media organizations. Jackson is included in The Best Lawyers in America for First Amendment Litigation.

Pickering was recognized for his work in labor and employment law. He serves as labor counsel for some of the Chattanooga area’s largest companies and has successfully defended complex business and employment cases in multiple states. Pickering is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Labor and Employment Law and Litigation and was named Chattanooga Labor and Employment Litigation Lawyer of the Year in 2015.
