Chattanooga Bar Association taking pre-orders for custom designed neckwear

The Chattanooga Bar Association (CBA) is helping its lawyers dress for success by offering exclusive neckwear handcrafted in Italy. The association is taking pre-orders for a custom-made tie and a custom-made circular scarf through Saturday, Feb. 28.

The ties will be made in Italy by a third-generation tie maker, who is handcrafting the neckwear exclusively for the members of the CBA. The bar’s members chose the silk tie design after the annual meeting last month.

The tie maker is also creating the scarves just for the CBA. Lynda Hood, executive director of the Bar, said one of the scarves would make a good gift for a paralegal or legal assistant.

“We created a tie for our golfers a few years ago, and it was so well received, we wanted to give every member a chance to have a CBA tie or scarf,” Hood said. “The maker is Italian, so the quality will be phenomenal.”

Both the tie and scarf cost $55 apiece. Checks can be made payable to the CBA and mailed to:

The ties and scarves will be ready in April.

The retailer, Wilson & Bow Custom Neckwear, is located in the Market Court Building on Market Street. “We wanted to continue to support the same local business we used last time,” Hood said.
