Chambliss law firm announces three new shareholders

Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel last week announced that Justin L. Furrow, Jeffrey G. Granillo and Douglas S. Griswold have become shareholders in the firm.

With a defined focus on labor and employment law, Furrow offers Chambliss clients extensive experience in employment litigation. He has successfully defended and assisted clients in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and U.S. Department of Labor. He advises clients on employee matters in order to minimize risk and avoid litigation. Additionally, Furrow works to review and shape policies and procedures governing the employer-employee relationship, limiting the possibility of significant employment-related liability.

As a shareholder in Chambliss’ litigation section, Granillo concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation, product liability defense, and intellectual property disputes. He has extensive litigation experience defending products whose design or manufacture is alleged to cause injury. Granillo has also successfully represented clients in high stakes trademark, copyright and patent infringement actions in a variety of federal courts across the country.

Focusing on health care and business law, Griswold regularly works with health care clients on HIPAA, fraud and abuse, regulatory compliance, certificates of need, employment arrangements, billing issues, and other health care related matters. He has also represented a number of health care providers in various business transactions, including asset and stock purchase transactions and joint venture arrangements. In addition to health care matters, Griswold advises corporate clients in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, real estate ventures and other corporate matters.

“These attorneys have demonstrated first-rate legal skills and an outstanding commitment to client service, the cornerstone of our firm,” said Mike St. Charles, managing shareholder at Chambliss. “We look forward to their ongoing contributions to both our clients and the community at large.”
