ANSWERS

1. Hippophobia is the fear of horses. Fooled ya! 2. Shem and Japheth (but not Ham) were blessed because they covered their father’s naked body without looking at it (Genesis 9:21-27). 3. “Crewel,” or “crewel work,” is surface embroidery stitched with wool threads. Although surface embroidery done with cotton threads utilizes the same stitches, it’s technically not crewel. 4. Tiberius. 5. True. Maggie did return to journalism before giving birth to her fictional fourth child. 6. False. Relying on supplements for nutrients does not constitute a healthy diet. Wholesome, healthy foods, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts, lean proteins, and unsaturated fats provide far more nutrition than a pill, and the nutrients they contain are more readily absorbed in your body. 7. True. Drying your hair before going out in the cold is always best. If you’ve been exposed to a potential illness, cooling your core temperature can hurt your immune system and allow the illness room to grow. Although it won’t make you sick every time, it’s not a good idea to go outside with wet hair. 8. Blue Whale. 9. Kim Clijesters. 10. Eight: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Mesa Verde National Park, Grand Circle, and the Grand Canyon.
