Regulatory Bureau compliance checks




On June 12, 2014, the Chattanooga Police Department Regulatory Bureau and the Hamilton County Coalition conducted compliance checks at several establishments in the Chattanooga area.

Out of 15 establishments checked, two sold to an under aged buyer. The following establishments sold to the under aged buyer and were cited to appear before the beer board on June 19, 2014: Top of the Line, 424 E. M.L. King Blvd., and Midnight Oil-Shiv Food Mart, 631 Signal Mtn. Blvd. 

The following did not sell to the under aged buyer: Quik Stop, 1300 N. Holtzclaw Ave.; The Big K, 909 Dodson Ave.; Ziggy’s, 607 Cherokee Blvd.; Raceway, 405 Signal Mtn. Blvd.; Raceway, 2528 Broad St.; 9 Brothers, 101 W. 38th St.; Rossville Corner Mart, 3700 Rossville Blvd.; Raceway, 2720 Rossville Blvd.; RJ Market, 4004 Rossville Blvd.; Sunshine Food Mart, 4510 Rossville Blvd.; Big Daddy’s, 3901 Dodds Ave.; Kanku’s Express, 2585 E. 23rd St.; Stop and Save, 2121 E. 23rd St.
