Vaughn earns new appraiser designation

Vincent Vaughn

Vincent Vaughn, who began his real estate appraisal career in 1977 and is the owner of Vaughn Appraisal Service in Chattanooga, has been awarded the AI-RRS (Appraisal Institute-Residential Review Specialist) designation from the Appraisal Institute.

Vaughn had held the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute for 25 years prior to receiving this newest designation. He’s the first real estate appraiser in Tennessee to receive the AI-RRS designation, and the second appraiser licensed in Georgia to receive this designation.

The AI-RRS designation is a newer designation for appraisers who have demonstrated knowledge and expertise in residential real estate appraisal review.

In addition to operating his company, Vaughn spent two of the last three years working as a nationwide forensic and retrospective review appraiser with Fannie Mae in Dallas, helping to recover some of the funds lost in the economic downturn of the past few years.

Vaughn and his wife, Patricia, reside in East Brainerd and are members of Ridgedale Baptist Church.
