Saturday, June 17

The Lookout Mountain Hotel, “Castel in the Clouds,” will be offered to the highest bidder for cash at the Dade County courthouse at Trenton, Ga., on July 4. Foreclosure proceedings were started by the American National Insurance Company of Gal-veston, Texas to satisfy a $325,000 debt incurred by the Lookout Mountain Hotel, Inc.

Monday, June 19

The 19th annual Baylor summer camp began Monday on the campus of the Baylor School for Boys under the direction of Sib Evans, assisted by a staff of Baylor coaches and teachers.

Wednesday, June 21

The Chattanooga Boys Choir, on a two-week eastern tour, spent Wednesday sightseeing and singing in New York. After a three-day rest in Atlantic City and singing for the Lions International Convention, the choir will go to Phila-delphia before returning to Chattanooga, Tuesday.

Friday, June 23

County Judge Frost urged the public to cooperate in keeping garbage off roads and highways in Hamilton County. It is the plan to prosecute any person caught dumping trash or garbage on a road or right way.
