Sunday, January 1
Theodore F. King, Jr. and J. B. Rudisill, Jr., have been admitted to partnership in the Trotter, Boyd & Keese Insurance organization effective January 1, the firm announced Saturday.

Monday, January 2
A total of 43 new busi-
nesses located in Chatta-nooga in November compared to 24 that began operations here in November 1959, Frank Orend, research director to the Chattanooga Camber of Commerce re-ported.

Wednesday, January 4
The City Commission took official action for designation of a triangular area along the Fourth Street freeway section as additional property for expansion of Kirkman Technical High School. The area involved is a little more than a square block and will provide a site for expansion of facilities including a proposed gymnasium, outdoor tennis courts and other athletic facilities.

Thursday, January 5
Bright School will build a new school plant on twenty acres of land acquired from Mr. And Mrs. Paul B. Carter on Carter’s Lake Road, which extends northeast from Hixson Pike toward Minnekahda Road in North Chattanooga.
