Morning Pointe of Chattanooga recently welcomed Dr. Ralph Alvarado, commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Health, during his visit to the city.
Alvarado is touring health departments and visiting Tennessee Department of Health staff across the state.
He made a multiday visit to southeastern Tennessee to spend time with local leaders and partners that serve older adults to learn about their work and hear their concerns.
Morning Pointe Senior Living leaders, in addition to the community’s staff, welcomed Alvarado and answered questions about the company.
“We appreciated Dr. Alvarado’s time and engagement,” says Franklin Farrow, co-founder and CEO of Morning Pointe Senior Living. “Him choosing to spend time with us as he addresses health needs across our state with citizens of all ages was a privilege.”
Alvarado was appointed to the commissioner position in January of this year. He oversees the Department of Health for the state.
