GreenTech Homes launches The Farmstead

GreenTech Homes has launched The Farmstead, a neo-traditional community with resort-style amenities located minutes from downtown Chattanooga.

GreenTech is a master-planned community builder based in Hamilton County; The Farmstead is the developer’s newest neighborhood to hit the market.

The Farmstead employs neo-traditional design, a town planning principle that stands in contrast to open suburban environments. Neo-traditional neighborhoods are more compact communities that are walkable, bikeable and close to home, work and other destinations.

Located in Hixson, The Farmstead is close to major employers as well as downtown Chattanooga and Hamilton Place. Its location also provides access to shopping, dining and entertainment.

Amenities include a centralized clubhouse with a full kitchen and exercise equipment, a pool, a dog park, a pickleball court and other sports activities.

The neighborhood also features a community plaza for live music and events, food truck hook-ups for gatherings and multiple fire pit zones for family and community engagements.

Lamp-lit sidewalks lead the way throughout the neighborhood and front porches are adorned with gas lanterns.

The first phase of The Farmstead is under construction and will include 80 homes out of 240 planned. The first homes are designated for customers who made an early decision to put down roots in the community.

Ranging from 1,600 to 4,000 square feet, more than 17 home plans are available, including multiple elevation options and exterior choices.

Customers can customize more than 20 structural features such as covered patios, bump outs, fireplaces, parking options and more.

The Farmstead also features various garage options, including up to a three-bay garage. Home pricing will start from the mid-$400s.
