Baker Donelson adds Exum for firm’s tax group




Jennifer Exum has joined Baker Donelson’s Chattanooga office in an of counsel capacity. She’s a member of the firm’s tax group.

Exum advises individuals and families on probate, estate and tax planning and conservatorships. She also advises and defends them in situations where litigation is necessary.

She counsels clients – including executors, trustees, heirs and advisers – on matters ranging from simple estates to complex business transitions with challenging family dynamics.

Exum also assists the Hamilton County Chancery Court through her service as a court-appointed receiver.

She’s currently president of the Estate Planning Council of Chattanooga and serves on the organization’s board of directors.

Exum is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Probate Section, where she serves on the executive council and the legislative subcommittee.

Exum earned her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University.
