Robert Maclellan recently joined Rise Partners as director of brokerage services. Maclellan will apply his knowledge of sales leasing and site selection to commercial real estate, residential developments and mixed-use projects.
Maclellan began his career as an assistant project manager with CBL. In 2019, he joined NAI Charter as commercial broker.
A native Chattanoogan, Maclellan attended The McCallie School and went on to earn a degree in business management from the University of Alabama.
He resides in North Chattanooga with his wife, Mclain, and their two daughters.
Life Spring taps new comm. health director
Life Spring Community has selected Tannia Lascano to serve as its new director of community health. Life Spring is a nonprofit pediatric clinic that provides holistic services to patients and their families.
A native of Ecuador, Lascano has nearly a decade of experience in rural and urban community development in both North and South America. Before relocating to the United States in 2014, she worked for the WASH (water, hygiene and sanitation) sectors in indigenous Quichua communities throughout Ecuador’s Andean Highlands.
Lascano earned her degree in biology from Hope College and a master’s in intercultural studies from FATELA Theological Seminary located in Latin America.
Urban Story Ventures hires marketing director
Commercial real estate developer Urban Story Ventures has hired Megan Bissonette as director of marketing and communications. Bissonette will lead the company’s marketing and communications strategy and build out the department as USV evolves with new ventures.
With over a decade of experience, Bissonette’s skillset covers branding, advertising, public relations, content marketing, community relations and client development.
Before joining USV, Bissonette spent several years in legal marketing and business development for Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel. She also served on the marketing team for a beverage manufacturer, executing campaigns through social media, digital advertising, media relations and events.
Bissonette earned an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
She is a member of the Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute and Public Relations Society of America and is a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
First Horizon names branch manager
Rodney Blaylock is the new manager of First Horizon’s banking center in Erlanger Medical Center.
Blaylock joined First Horizon in 2005 as a relief teller and became a full-time teller six months later. In 2009, he became the operations manager for the banking center in Red Bank and in 2020 he was named the relationship banker for the Soddy Daisy banking center.
In his role, Blaylock is responsible for developing new business and expanding on existing client relationships.
A Chattanooga native, Blaylock is a graduate of Soddy Daisy High School. He serves as a member of the Alliance and Allies group at First Horizon.
Blaylock lives in Chattanooga with his husband, Ford Knox, Jr., and two daughters, Naomi and Lindi.
