Chambers USA lists Chambliss Law in 2021 Tennessee rankings

The “2021 Chambers USA Guide: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business” report recognizes Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel as a leading Tennessee firm for intellectual property.

In addition, Chambliss attorneys Stephen Adams and Paul Weidlich received special recognition in this year’s rankings. Adams is listed in the “Up and Coming” category for intellectual property and Weidlich is included in band two for intellectual property.

Chambers and Partners’ rankings are based on interviews analysts conduct with law firms worldwide. The legal directory ranks law firms and individual lawyers in bands. According to Chambers, being ranked in any band is a significant achievement.

To determine a ranking, independent analysts assess a firm or attorney’s technical legal ability, quality of service, depth of business understanding, degree of diligence and value.

Adams and Weidlich both counsel clients on various intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark and copyright preparation, prosecution, maintenance, defense and enforcement, licensing and trade secrets.

Both are registered patent attorneys and counsel clients throughout the country and abroad.

Adams represents entrepreneurs, inventors, startups, small and large corporations, governmental entities and universities.

His clients come from diverse industries, including medical, strength and conditioning, entertainment, manufacturing and renewable energy.

Adams advises these and other clients in trademark and branding issues and with identifying and protecting inventions.

Weidlich counsels clients ranging from multinational, public corporations to individual entrepreneurs.

His clients also operate in a wide range of industries and have devised innovations in a broad range of technologies, Chambliss says, including manufacturing and construction equipment and processes, control systems, transportation and logistics, consumer products, 3D printing, renewable energy, food and textile manufacturing, medical devices, publishing, software development and e-commerce and financial services.

Weidlich also advises clients on domain name, data security and privacy issues.
