Alston named fellow of the American Bar Foundation

The American Bar Foundation has named Husch Blackwell managing partner Michael Alston a fellow.

The fellows of the ABF is a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities.

Membership in the fellows is limited to 1% of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Members are nominated by their peers and elected by the board of the American Bar Foundation.

Alston handles complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. He represents business clients in litigation and alternative dispute resolution involving contracts, commercial leases, construction agreements, employment agreements and insurance policies throughout the country.

He is also a certified mediator in Tennessee.

“I was profoundly honored to even be nominated for the American Bar Foundation, and it’s beyond humbling to be listed alongside the exceptional Tennessee attorneys who have been selected as fellows,” Alston says.
