Katherine Wolf will be the guest speaker during the 18th annual “Possibilities: Siskin Hospital Celebrates Life Beyond Disability” fundraiser Tuesday, March 2. The event is virtual and will be livestreamed at 11:30 a.m.

Wolf survived a life-threatening brain stem stroke that nearly took her life six months after she gave birth to her son.

“Possibilities” will also feature videos highlighting Siskin Hospital patients learning to overcome their disabilities.

“Possibilities” is Siskin’s only communitywide fundraising event. The proceeds provide services for patients without adequate insurance to cover the cost of their care. The average cost for a charity care admission in fiscal year 2020 was $14,515.

A steering committee led by Jim and Lynda Sattler is working with Siskin staff to coordinate the event.
