Baker Donelson has added Shaheen Imami to its Chattanooga office as a member of the tax group.
Imami brings more than 20 years of experience working with clients on matters concerning trusts, estates and probate litigation. He also counsels clients in the areas of estate administration and estate planning matters and is a certified mediator.
Imami represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in pre- and post-death administration and litigation matters, including will and trust contests, interpretation issues and alleged breaches of fiduciary duty.
He also assists his clients with preparing fiduciary income, gift and estate tax returns, as well as acting as an expert witness in related practice areas.
Imami is recognized in the area of Private Wealth Law in the 2020 Chambers High Net Worth Guide and is listed in Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and an active member of both the Fiduciary Practice and Fiduciary Litigation Committees within the organization. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan.
