The NCAA recently selected Chattanooga as the host city for six championships for soccer, softball and tennis from 2023 through 2026. The tournaments include:

The Division II soccer championship will be a first for Chattanooga and will be held at the new CHI Memorial Stadium, where the USL League One professional team, Chattanooga Red Wolves SC, plays its matches.
Chattanooga has hosted multiple NCAA championships in the immediate past, including Division III tennis.
Chattanooga was poised to host the Division II softball championship this year but the tournament was canceled due to COVID-19.
“Receiving these bids allows us another opportunity to showcase the outstanding athletic facilities and to welcome visitors to our wonderful community,” says Larry Carpenter, director of athletics for Lee University, which will host the tournament.
Chattanooga Sports is partnering with the University of the South: Sewanee, Lee University, University of North Georgia, Chattanooga Red Wolves SC and the cities of East Ridge and Chattanooga to host these championships.
