Nashville-based KraftCPAs has expanded its footprint to Chattanooga with the acquisition of Matheney Stees & Associates.
MSA has served the Chattanooga area for more than 20 years, particularly in the health care and construction industries. The firm has 17 full- and part-time employees.
Tim Stees, a director at MSA, will join KraftCPAs as a member and will serve as manager-in-charge for Chattanooga.
Stees has 36 years of experience in finance, accounting and taxation, including 29 years in public accounting and seven years as vice president of finance for a health care management company.
Founded in 1958 by the late Joe Kraft, KraftCPAs is an independent certified public accounting firm with a staff of more than 200.
KraftCPAs has offices in Nashville, Columbia and Lebanon, and provides audit, tax and accounting services, as well as a variety of specialized consulting services through six affiliates.
