The Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association has honored Mary Gadd, business development director and officer administrator for Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, with the Defense Research Institute’s State and Legal Defense Organization Executive Director award.
The award recognizes an executive director who best fosters a relationship between his or her organization and the DRI and who otherwise demonstrated exceptional service to the cause of the defense bar and their state organization, according to a TDLA news release.
Gadd has served as executive director of the TDLA since 2015.
The DRI is the international membership organization of lawyers involved in the defense of civil litigation. The organization has served the defense bar for more than 50 years and boasts a membership of over 20,000.
The TDLA is the 2017 recipient of the DRI Rudolph A. Janata award recognizing an exemplary state and legal organization.
