National Medal of Honor Heritage Center launches fundraising campaign

With its grand opening scheduled for Feb. 22, the Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center has launched its Bricks of Honor fundraising campaign.

All funds raised from the campaign will be used to support the Heritage Center’s capital campaign and fund future exhibit upgrades, special programs and other enhancements.

Available to purchase at www.mohh.org/bricks, individuals and businesses have three options: 4-inch-by-8-inch commemorative bricks for $150 each, 8 inch-by-8-inches commemorative paving tiles for $1,000 each and 12-inch-by-12-inch commemorative paving tiles for $5,000 each.

The mission of the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center is to memorialize the acts of valor demonstrated by the recipients and to educate the next generation about the character traits associated with their gallantry.

The 19,000-square-foot facility is located in downtown Chattanooga at Aquarium Plaza and will feature life-sized exhibits.

Once open, the Heritage Center will also become the hub for the Medal of Honor Character Development Program and the Character Club initiative.
