Realty Center honors top producers

Realtors and Realtor teams with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Realty Center sold thousands of homes in 2018 and placed among the upper echelon of agents and teams that are part of the globally operating Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.

Realty Center announced the winners of its 2018 sales awards in a private celebration last month.

The Hamilton Group was Realty Center’s top-producing team in 2018. Consisting of Bonnie, Woody and Barry Hamilton and based at the company’s Signal Mountain office, the team achieved Chairman’s Circle Platinum status, which represents the top 1 percent of all Realtors and teams in BHHS’ global network.

Barry Hamilton, team leader for The Hamilton Group, says, “My brother Woody and I were learning real estate sales lessons before we had high school diplomas by watching our mom, Bonnie, navigate negotiations and family relocations for years.

“We returned to town as adults and realized what an all-encompassing and rewarding career she had created. While each of us has a different client base, our values and business sense are stronger together than apart. That strength is reinforced by working with trustworthy fellow Realtors at Realty Center.”

Choice Homes, a 14-month-old team led by Realtor Drew Carey, also achieved Chairman’s Circle Platinum status last year. The group is based out of Realty Center’s East Brainerd office.

Four Realty Center teams achieved Chairman’s Circle Gold, which represents the top 2 percent of all BHHS Realtors and teams worldwide: Team Blazek, The Colvin Team, Team Clayton Taylor and 7 Bridges Group.

Realty Center’s top-producing individual Realtor and fellow Chairman’s Circle Gold member, Lore Conway of the Hixson office, had a career defining year in 2018. On average, she helped one family a week meet their property ownership goals.

“With 20 years of experience now behind me, I’m grateful to my clients and family for helping me on a journey where intense effort and a strong ethical core turn a transaction into a unique experience worthy of referral and repeat business,” Conway says. “I truly can’t rest until I know I’ve exceeded expectations. Working with other Realty Center Realtors who share my values helps me stay on top of my professional game.”

Representing Realty Center’s downtown office, Janine Garland was the company’s No. 2 Realtor for 2018. Angela Carson from the East Brainerd office rounded out the top three individual Realtors.

Realty Center’s Rising Star for 2018 was Ian Pfeiffer of the East Brainerd office.

The annual event was also a 10th anniversary celebration for Realty Center Title & Escrow, a full-service firm that provides title insurance and closing services for the Greater Chattanooga region.

Realtors from all five of Realty Center’s offices (downtown, East Brainerd, Hixson, North Georgia and Signal Mountain) and their guests braved a downpour to enjoy an evening of awards and a casino-themed party that lasted well into the night.

Byron Kelly, Realty Center president, says he’s proud to call the professionals at his firm family. “Our affiliation with the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network is a perfect fit for our top performers at Realty Center and an inspiration for our dozens of new agents.

“Our Realtors have consistently proven their value and skill over years of selling homes for Chattanoogans. The national brand reinforces this local reputation with the values of one of the most respected companies in the world.”
