3 attorneys elected members at Miller & Martin




Miller & Martin has welcomed Lynzi Archibald, Michael Dumitru and Alan Madison to membership in the firm.

The recently elected members are resident in the Chattanooga office with Archibald and Dumitru being members of the litigation department and Madison being a member of the corporate department.

Archibald represents clients in a variety of litigation matters ranging from contract disputes and business torts to appeals and personal injury claims. She focuses her practice on healthcare fraud and abuse litigation, particularly the defense of clients in False Claims Act, Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Act litigation and investigations.

Archibald also assists private health care insurers with the recovery of fraudulently obtained payments, defends healthcare providers in criminal investigations and actions, and represents whistleblowers in qui tam lawsuits.

Additionally, Archibald counsels clients regarding complex e-discovery issues and directs the preservation, collection, and review of sensitive and voluminous electronic data during and in preparation for litigation.

Archibald earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law following her graduation from the University of Georgia with degrees in English and philosophy. She served as president of the Chattanooga Chapter of the Federal Bar Association in 2016 and is licensed to practice law in Tennessee.

Dumitru is a commercial litigator with experience litigating complex commercial cases, contract disputes, claims between members of closely held companies, construction disputes, and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy. He also represents health care providers in government investigations and disputes with payors.

Dumitru earned his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt Law School after graduating with a masters in global studies from New York University and a degree in political science from Fordham University. He is licensed in Tennessee.

Madison focuses his practice on debt financing and mergers and acquisitions as a corporate attorney. He advises middle-market privately held companies in connection with strategic and financial transactions and has deep experience in representing borrowers and lenders in a range of secured financings.

Madison holds a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law and a degree in history from Clemson University. He is licensed in Tennessee and previously practiced with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Chicago.
