Croy, a multi-discipline consulting firm and provider of design solutions, has announced the expansion of its operations into Tennessee with the opening of a Chattanooga office.

In addition to the expansion, Croy announced the hire of Russell Moorehead, who will lead the new office. A former public works director for the City of Marietta, Georgia, Moorehead brings 33 years of experience in design, engineering, and project management to the firm.

Moorehead relocated his family to Chattanooga in 2003 and has been providing services to municipal and industrial clients for the last 15 years.

Moorehead’s industry background includes experience related to municipal transportation, storm water management, water distribution, and wastewater collection issues.

Moorehead is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Chattanooga and a registered professional engineer in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Tennessee.

The new Chattanooga office is located at 1270 Market St. in the city’s Southside district. It is the fourth office location for Croy and expands the firm’s geographic footprint to a third Southeastern state. Croy currently operates offices in Marietta and Smyrna, Georgia as well as Huntsville, Alabama.
