The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee hosted a public reading of the U.S. Constitution to celebrate Constitution Day Friday, Sept. 15. The court held the event on the steps of the Joel W. Solomon Federal Building from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Members of the public joined the court and local bar associations in commemorating the document that forms the bedrock of their nation. Participants read the Constitution in 110 segments that took one minute or less to read.
