Crye-Leike welcomes Ian O’Shea as new managing broker of Ft. Oglethorpe office




Crye-Leike has appointed Realtor Ian O’Shea as the new managing broker of its North Georgia office, located in Ft. Oglethorpe.

“After more than two decades spent working in the real estate services industry, I have never been more excited about the future,” said Ian. “I could not be happier about coming to work for Crye-Leike.”

O’Shea has been a licensed Realtor since 1989. Prior to moving back home to the Greater Chattanooga area, he worked with Garden Lakes Realty from 1989 to 2010, serving as a broker and vice-president of sales management. O’Shea most recently served as an associate broker with Prudential Realty from June 2010 to June 2012.

“Making the move to Crye-Leike was a no-brainer for me,” said Ian. “After meeting the agents in Crye-Leike’s North Georgia office and seeing their enthusiasm for the future of business locally, I realized coming to Crye-Leike was a perfect fit for me.”

O’Shea holds a real estate broker’s license in both Tennessee and Georgia. He assists buyers and sellers in and around Catoosa, Walker and Hamilton counties. O’Shea specializes in all types of residential real estate sales and especially enjoys working with first-time home buyers. He also assists clients with commercial real estate transactions, new home and rehab construction, land development, condominium sales and multi- family investment properties. 

To better serve his clients and keep his knowledge of the market up-to-date, O’Shea is actively involved in many local real estate boards and committees. He’s currently a member of the Georgia Association of Realtors, the Tennessee Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. O’Shea is a past state director of the Georgioa Association of Realtors and a past president of

the Greater Rome Board of Realtors.

Some of O’Shea’s top real estate achivements include being named “Sales Person of the Year” in 1993, 1998 and 2008. He’s also proud of a “Recognition Award” he received from the Rome Area Heritage Foundation for the restoration of a significant historic home built in 1908.

O’Shea and his wife Michelle live in Ringgold, Ga. He’s a member of the Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce, the Ringgold United Methodist Church and the Southern British Car Club of Chattanooga. In his free time, Ian enjoys landscaping, restoring antique cars and playing tennis and golf.
