Joan Rose of Ooltewah has become affiliated with Coldwell Banker Pryor Realty. As a Realtor and affiliate broker, Rose will specialize in residential real estate.
“I’ve always loved real estate, and in particular, buying and moving into a new home,” Rose said. “The excitement of taking a house and making it a home has always been special to me. I can remember our last two moves – being so excited that I’m up before dawn bubbling with anticipation.”
Rose previously marketed commercial banks and financial services in the Chattanooga area for AmSouth Bank and First Volunteer Bank. She said her marketing background and communication skills led to a successful transition into real estate.
“It’s a natural transition. The real estate industry requires good marketing skills, as you’re working with people to match them up with the right property. Handling a real estate transaction is very detail-oriented and requires good communication skills – that’s what marketing is all about,” Rose said.
Rose is a graduate of Leadership Chattanooga, a member of the Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute, and serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement. She volunteers in various roles with the United Way, the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, the Salvation Army, and St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church.
