The next Raptography workshop will take place Saturday, Sept. 20 at Edgar Evins State Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The unique birds of prey photography workshop is offered in partnership with Wings to Soar, a non-profit environmental organization that cares for unreleaseable birds of prey trained for educational programs.
The workshop includes six hours of intense learning through lecture, practice, review, and discussion led by instructor Dianne Blankenbaker.
Participants will also spend two hours handling and photographing birds with raptor expert Dale Kernahan. Half of the proceeds go to Wings to Soar.
