On July 30, nearly two dozen local students in need visited the Gunbarrel Road Target store to purchase school supplies, clothing and other necessities for going back to school. The Salvation Army and Target helped 23 K-12 students across the city gear up for the upcoming academic year. Each child, selected by The Salvation Army, was awarded an $81 Target Gift Card to purchase school supplies. Additionally, each child was paired with a volunteer chaperone. (Photo provided)
