For the last 25 years, Chattanooga attorneys Alix Michel and David Ward have been helping clients from all walks of life solve their legal problems, often handling cases other lawyers did not take. After spending the last eight years handling all types of litigation matters at Chambliss, Bahner and Stophel, they have now formed their own firm, Michel and Ward.

Michel and Ward have a combined 50 years of legal experience, primarily in medical and professional malpractice and prescription drug abuse matters. Their expertise in prescription drug abuse prevention is sought nationwide. Michel and Ward presented on “The Legal Issues of Prescription Drug Diversion, Signs and Strategies” at the first National Rx Drug Abuse Summit and recently presented on this topic for risk managers of national health insurer Coverys.
Their general practice firm will focus on personal injury, long term care, professional and medical malpractice, defense of health related board investigations and other civil matters.
