Dale Buchanan and Associates has added a new attorney to its ranks of Social Security disability lawyers: Brittany Thrasher.
Brittany Thrasher grew up on Signal Mountain. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.A. Degree, summa cum laude, in English. She later attended Baylor University School of Law in Waco, Texas. During law school, she was awarded the Best Petitioners Brief and named a Top 10 Speaker in the Leighton B. Dawson Moot Court Competition. She graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 2013.
Outside the office, Thrasher is a country girl. She enjoys family gatherings, sweet tea, and a good pair of cowgirl boots. An adventurer at heart, Thrasher enjoys traveling and meeting new people. Prior to law school, she served as a fifth grade homeroom teacher in the Dominican Republic at The Palms Christian School. She’s also traveled to England, Ireland, Spain, Costa Rica, and Mexico. No matter where she goes, though, home will always be Tennessee.
As the daughter of a registered nurse and carpenter, Thrasher understands the value of service. She knows what a great privilege and responsibility it is to use her knowledge and experience to help those in need. Thrasher is excited to be back in her hometown and is looking forward to serving her community.
