Fetch! Pet Care is bringing sitters to neighborhoods in Northwest Georgia.
Cherryl Carden of Fetch! Pet Care Northwest Georgia will be serving the cities of Wildwood, Ringgold, Rome and Dalton. Carden offers several services for four-legged family members, including dog walking, pet sitting, overnight care, puppy sitting and pet transportation services.
Fetch! uses a mobile scheduling and communication app called Fetch! Pet Care. The app allows owners to manage each of their pets’ care and receive updates on both scheduling and services. It’s available on the iPhone App Store and in Google Play.
Carden handpicks and trains every dog walker and pet sitter on her team. Sitters are bonded, insured and background checked and have been trained to care for dogs, cats, birds and other small, caged animals.
Originally from Virginia, Carden has spent most of her adult life in the Northwest Georgia area and owns two rescue dogs. She has 30 years of experience in accounting and finance and is a frequent contributor to the Humane Society of Chattanooga.

Preventia expands with Chattanooga acquisition
Preventia Security recently expanded into East Tennessee with the opening of a branch in Chattanooga. Preventia has grown from a single office with 20 employees in 2017 to four offices with over 80 employees in 2021.
Preventia acquired Fort Oglethorpe-based Action Alarms of Chattanooga July 1. Action Alarms served Chattanooga and surrounding areas for over 30 years with alarm installation and monitoring services.
Aaron Whitaker founded Preventia 10 years ago in Columbia, Tennessee.
Preventia serves both the residential and commercial sectors with alarm, access control, video surveillance, fire detection and smart home systems.
Existing customers in the Chattanooga area will continue to see familiar faces on their doorsteps and talk with the same service professionals on the phone. The new office joins branches in Columbia and Lafayette, Tennessee and Albany, Georgia.
