Grant, Konvalinka & Harrison Director Brittany Thomas Faith has received national recognition as one of the American Bar Association’s top 40 young lawyers in America.
Faith’s selection for the “On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyers” list is based on her “dedication and tireless advocacy to her clients as part of her immigration practice,” the ABA says in a news release.
The annual award provides national recognition for 40 ABA young lawyer members who “exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership and legal and community service,” the ABA adds.
Honorees must be under the age of 36 and nominated by a peer, or peers, for their exemplary work.
The final honorees are selected via a panel of reputable lawyers across many practice areas.
“Selection for this prestigious award is an amazing accomplishment and a testament to Ms. Faith’s reputation as an outstanding lawyer and servant to the public,” Grant Konvalinka says in a news release.
“What sets Ms. Faith in a class by herself is her tireless commitment to people. She always takes the time to let her clients, colleagues, family and friends know they mean something to her. It isn’t uncommon for her to drive to the other end of this very long state to lead an immigration pro bono clinic.
“Brittany demonstrates excellence and kindness in equal measure and embodies the humanity that seems to be so often left out of the practice of law,” the firm added.
Faith joined Grant Konvalinka’s immigration practice group in 2012. She was elected to be a director of the firm at the end of 2018.
Faith focuses her practice on immigration, including family-based petitions, employment-based petitions and humanitarian relief.
Faith also is serving as the co-chair of the ABA Young Lawyers Division Immigration and Naturalization Committee and as the chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s mid-south chapter, which constitutes immigration attorneys in Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana.
In addition, Faith has been active with the local young lawyers. She’s the Tennessee Bar Association YLD’s East Tennessee governor and has led several immigration-focused service projects.
Faith also serves on the board of La Paz Chattanooga, which has been the inspiration for many of her service projects.
Faith lives in Chattanooga with her husband, Justin, and son, Bennett. Learn more at www.gkhpc.com.
