Twenty-three Chambliss attorneys have been selected by their peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America 2014. Additionally, Best Lawyers has named three attorneys from Chambliss as 2014 Chattanooga “Lawyers of the Year.”
Alicia Brown Oliver, named in the area of Trademark Law, is new to the Best Lawyers list. The three Chambliss attorneys named Best Lawyers 2014 Chattanooga “Lawyer of the Year” are William P. Aiken, E. Stephen Jett and Dana B. Perry. Only a single lawyer in each practice area within a community is honored with this distinction. Bill Aiken was awarded Chattanooga Health Care Lawyer of the Year; Steve Jett, Chattanooga Corporate Law Lawyer of the Year; and Dana Perry, Chattanooga Trusts and Estates Lawyer of the Year. Aiken, Jett and Perry are all shareholders of the firm.
Jett, who has been on the Best Lawyers list since 2006, focuses on corporate and transactional work for manufacturing, health care, technology, construction and other business clients. Aiken, listed in Best Lawyers since 1993, practices in the areas of health care, corporate and securities law, automotive law, commercial contracts and business transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Perry, managing shareholder of Chambliss and included in the ranks of Best Lawyers since 2007, works with clients in the areas of estate planning, elder law and special needs trust planning.
