Real Estate partners volunteer Green Team works
Adelia Mosley
Real Estate Partners Chattanooga LLC “Green Team” volunteers prepare to clean up Market and Broad Streets.
?It was a dirty and very hot job as Real Estate Partners Chattanooga LLC “Green Team” volunteers hit the streets on a recent Saturday morning in a “Clean Up OUR Downtown” litter pick up campaign.
Donning green vests to call attention to their cause, the 20 member volunteer crew canvassed Market and Broad Streets from the 800 block (at its offices in the historic Loveman’s Building) to the river.
The event was organized by Darlene Brown, managing broker and an owner of Real Estate Partners Chattanooga, LLC.
“As a downtown business owner and as a Realtor, we must all work to give back to our city and to do our part in helping present our downtown in the best possible way,” Brown said.
Joining the Real Estate Partners “Green Crew” were employees and staff from Stewart Title, another commercial business owner at Loveman’s on Market.
“Trash, bottles and massive numbers of cigarette butts are a black mark and an eyesore on our beautiful downtown. When a house is on the market – it needs to be in pristine condition inside and out to be competitive in today’s real estate market. The same goes for our city. Sometimes important fundamental efforts like beautification, trash and litter pick up fall by the wayside as community focus shifts to other efforts,” Ms. Brown said. ??
Real Estate Partners plans on making this an annual event and hopes to involve more downtown businesses and residents particularly those nearby on Cherry and Market Streets. The goal is to take ownership of the neighborhood, be responsible corporate citizens and give back to our downtown.
Partnership is one of the core business principles at Real Estate Partners, the three-year-old boutique real estate company represents many of Chattanooga’s leading downtown developments included Museum Bluffs Riverside, Museum Bluffs Parkview, BridgeView on Northshore, Bragg Point and the upcoming Cameron Harbor. With 34 real estate agents, the company is proud to represent fine homes at every price point – uptown, downtown and around town.
Real Estate Partners Chattanooga?is located at 807 Cherry Street?in the historic Loveman’s Building.
