Dine and Donate at Your Pie

ChaTech hosts CxO auction
The Chattanooga Technology Council will host its 8th annual CxO Auction Thursday, Aug. 22 at Chattanooga Whiskey Event Hall. The event will begin with a networking reception and whiskey tours from 5-6 p.m. Dinner and the auction will follow beginning at 6 p.m. The CxO Auction brings together the Chattanooga tech community to support the outreach programs provided by ChaTech, including coding camps for youth, scholarships for college students in IT majors and educational programs for professionals.
PAWnaroo to benefit animal shelter
Fifteen bands, two food trucks and a multitude of artists will convene Saturday, Aug. 24, from noon-10 p.m. at The Camp House (149 E. M L King Blvd.) for PAWnaroo. The music and arts festival will benefit Pet Placement Center, a local no-kill animal shelter. Atlanta-based bands Fairshake, World’s Greatest Dad and Clavicle will be among those playing. The early hours of the event will be family friendly, with face painting for kids and dogs from Pet Placement Center on-site. The content will become more adult centered in the evening.
