BTI Consulting Group included Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel in its nationally scoped BTI Power Rankings 2016: The Law Firms with the Best Client Relationships, released in June. The Chattanooga-based law firm is listed as a Clientopia Standout, and is one of only 16 other law firms with Clientopia relationships in the consumer goods industry.
Clientopia occurs when a client views a law firm as a core, go-to firm, and one that is most recommended to peers. More than 500 law firms are included in the ranking based on their strength of client relationships. BTI Power Rankings is based solely on direct, unprompted feedback from interviews with more than 320 corporate counsel at leading organizations in 16 industries.
“Our team is focused on building strong partnerships with our clients so we can best meet their needs,” said Mike St. Charles, managing shareholder of Chambliss. “To be recognized for these relationships is an honor for our firm, and reinforces our commitment to excellent client service.”
Polsinelli, which has offices in Chattanooga and Kansas City, secured placement on BTI Consulting’s 2016 Most Recommended Law Firms, Brand Elite, and Client Service A-Team lists.
“Knowing these results are based on unprompted feedback from leading decision makers across the country is humbling,” said Polsinelli Chairman Russ Welsh, who practices at the company’s Kansas City office. “We strive to build partnerships with our clients by better understanding and anticipating the particular challenges they face. We’re proud our approach to client service has been noticed, and grateful for the confidence that has been placed in us.”
A breakdown of Polsinelli’s position in BTI’s 2016 rankings includes: Most Recommended Law Firms – top 20 percent among 650 firms; Brand Elite – ranked number 74; Client Service A-Team – top 5 percent; Law Firms with the Best Client Relationships – top 10 percent for the firm overall, and specific recognition in the Health Care, Chemicals, High Tech, and Telecommunications industries.
BTI conducts annual interviews with leading corporate counsel to determine which law firms are achieving superior results in terms of client relationships. Its research team includes legal industry experts and analysts who specialize in statistics, survey techniques, and analytical methodologies.
BTI has published its ranking of client service excellence for the corporate legal industry for 15 years. Its annual benchmark study and data-driven rankings are based solely on in-depth interviews with more than 300 general counsels from companies with $1 billion or more in revenue. No law firm influences the results, submits nominations or provides client names to BTI.
