Cullon Hooks will direct the condominium and homeowner association management business at Walldorf Property Management, the company announced last week.
“Cullon has excellent, relevant experience, and a solid track record with condominium development and association operation and governance,” said Rudy Walldorf, owner of the company. “Our association clients will benefit from his experience.”
Walldorf also noted that Hooks has broad experience in real estate and property management. Hooks earned a Masters Degree in Historic Preservation from Savannah College of Art & Design after graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Political Science.
After running hardwood flooring and historic restoration companies in Savannah, Ga., Hooks moved to Chattanooga, where he restored and converted an historic apartment building into condominiums, established the association and served on its board. “Cullon has hired property management companies to provide the services he will provide through Walldorf Property Management,’ continued Walldorf. “Perhaps more importantly, he has fired them, too, so he has a grasp on what it takes to do the job well.”
Hooks also served as project manager and senior leasing manager at 2 Northshore and downtown retail director for RiverCity Company. He also directed commercial leasing for the Terrace at Frazier mixed use development, giving him insight into management of mixed-use developments.
Hooks and his wife, Ann, moved to Chattanooga nine years ago. They have three children and live on Lookout Mountain. They are active in Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church.
